It’s JULY; a new month means new writing, reading, and author-related holidays to have fun with on social media, your blog, or as newsletter material.
Other than the 4th of July, here are four fun holidays to celebrate this month!
Read an Almanac Month
The Farmer’s Almanac always catches my attention in the check-out lane of any farm store, but truth be told, I’ve never actually read an Almanac. Maybe this month I will.
July 17: Take Your Poet to Work Day
Are you a poet? Take this day to snap a photo and brag about your poetry while at work! If you aren’t, grab your favorite book of poetry (here’s one of mine) and take it to work with you.
July 19: Words with Friends Day
I honestly miss this game — did anyone else play Words with Friends? I’m considering getting back into it just for the word play!
July 30: Paperback Book Day
Get ready to share your favorite paperbacks at the end of July! Better yet — use it as an excuse to grab a few new ones (I just stocked up on ThriftBooks).
Know of a holiday I may have missed? Drop it in the comments below!
